The show launches with “Ticket to the Moon” by Electric Light Orchestra, an atmospheric opener where mallets and solo brass paint the expanse of space. The mood deepens with David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”, a haunting ballad of longing and reflection framed by a lush piano texture. The pulse quickens through Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata, 3rd Movement”, transformed into a virtuosic percussion feature full of motion and fire, before lifting off into Bowie’s “Starman.” Powerful and transcendent, Stardust captures the thrill of exploration, the ache of distance, and the beauty of finding light among the stars.
