Bright Lights and Big Dreams

Level: Medium
Time: 7:45

From the hum of the streets to the glow of the skyline, Bright Lights & Big Dreams captures the pulse of the city and the spirit of ambition that never sleeps. The show opens in a bustling downtown soundscape, as soloists scattered across park benches — musicians, dreamers, and buskers — bring the city to life one voice at a time. The full ensemble builds from these individual melodies into a dazzling arrival, quoting New York, New York and Rhapsody in Blue in a celebration of New York’s rhythm and drive. The ballad, A Million Dreams, shines with warmth and hope, revealing the heart behind every dreamer’s journey. A high-energy percussion feature inspired by My Shot injects grit and determination before the production crescendos into its triumphant finale — a soaring, cinematic version of Empire State of Mind.
